An increase in feedback to Healthwatch Herefordshire about the realities of being a carer in Herefordshire led us to conduct some research into the lives of carers.

During our engagement we identified the common themes experienced by carers and what impact caring has on them. Through sharing their lived experiences, carers told us what would make a difference to their lives.

This report summarises our findings and recommendations.
